Katherine Griffith Ms. Griffith is an associate at AcademyHealth. She works on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, DHHS, Knowledge Transfer (KT) Program to develop integrated "knowledge transfer" strategies that increase the uptake and use of health services research findings by state and local officials, health care purchasers, and health systems leaders. Her work focuses primarily on AHRQ's Quality Indicators Public Reporting Learning Institute, implementing their public health preparedness products, and developing Emergency Preparedness Webcasts. Prior to joining AcademyHealth in June 2008, Ms. Griffith worked as a research assistant at the National Quality Forum in Washington, D.C., where she provided support for their health care quality and standardization projects, specifically Ambulatory Care, Substance Use Treatment, and End Stage Renal Disease. Before that, she was an intern at Research! America and the University of Colorado at Denver 's Health Science Center's Humanities and Bioethics Department. Currently, Ms. Griffith is completing a Masters in Health Science in Health Policy degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
