Sen. Kennedy Honored for Contributions to Health Services Research
AcademyHealth presented the Chair Award to Sen. Edward Kennedy on Wednesday, December 10 in recognition of his support for using health services research to inform health policy. The award was accepted on Sen. Kennedy's behalf by Senior Health Advisor, Kavita Patel. Read the full press release.
International Nurse Recruitment Code of Conduct Released
AcademyHealth, along with the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and a taskforce of diverse stakeholders, has released the Voluntary Code of Ethical Conduct for the Recruitment of Foreign-Educated Nurses to the United States (the Code) and its Web site, www.fairinternationalrecruitment.org.
