Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) State Planning Grant (SPG) program
AcademyHealth has contracted with HRSA, a division of the U.S. department of Health and Human Services (HHS), to provide technical support to states participating in the SPG program and write consolidated reports to HHS Secretary Tommy Thompson synthesizing these states' experiences. Through the SPG program, officials from more than 30 states have received funds to develop plans for broadening access to affordable health insurance coverage.
